Founded in 1897 by Ferdinando Caldirola as a humble tavern in the hamlet of Contra, Missaglia. They have evolved through three different family generations to a major wine producer under the celebrated La Cacciatora Brand. In the late1900s, this iconic brand sparked widespread visibility through sporting sponsorships. It was eventually acquired by Prosit Group in 2022 and they now produce around 40 million bottles annually, with roughly 40% destined for over 60 export markets.
